등위접속사는 두 개의 독립된 절을 이어줄 경우 사용합니다. 하지만 종속된 절은 문장 단독으로 혼자 쓰일 수 없습니다. 그러므로 가장 쉽고 간단하게 교정하는 방법은 종속절 뒤에 등위접속사 없이 쉼표만을 사용하는 것입니다. 또한 등위접속사 대신에 종속접속사를 삭제하여 올바른 문장을 만들 수도 있습니다.
